*All tools and materials supplied* This three-day introductory stair building course is ideal for beginners who want to gain an understanding of how timber stairs are designed, set out, and constructed. It provides a solid foundation in the core principles of stair building, combining theory with practical demonstration. Learners will be introduced to: * The essential components of a staircase * Common terminology * The calculations used for setting out rise, going, pitch, and handrail height. * Material selection * Accuracy in marking out * Typical stair joints and fixings. By the end of the course, learners will have a clear understanding of the stair-building process and the confidence to progress to further training, workplace experience, or more advanced joinery projects. You will have a three stepped staircase to take away with you.
